14 kms. Noted for its natural beauty and medicinal
waterfalls, Sahastradhara is a very popular
picnic and entertainment spot. Connected by regular
city bus services and a good motorable
road/Accommodation facilities include theTourist Rest

stands in extensive grounds amongst fine plantations
of many species of vegetation. The Institute
maintains six museums, covering various disciplines,
which are open to the public.

within one km. of Robbers' Cave.
Built in homage to a saint, called Lakshman Sidh, it
is also a good picnic spot. On the road to Rishikesh,
it can be reached by bus or car.
A famous Shiv temple and the site of an important
festival. City bus service operates to within half a
kilometer of the temple.
